2020 START and Healthcare Academy Program Description

ARDX Foundation sponsors rising high school seniors each year to participate in a summer internship program. This paid internship program will begin on June 22, 2020 and conclude on July 2, 2020. Once the intern is selected, he/she will report (remotely) to the START Program Coordinator and work in one of several focus areas such as Marketing, Fundraising, Customer Service, and/or Information Technology (IT). The interns will complete collaborative tasks designed to enhance their leadership, project management, presentation, and technical skills. In addition, they will spend time focused on mental wellness, personal development, and leading discussions with community youth during our weekly Healthcare Academy educational sessions.

Applicants will be interviewed and selected by a designated committee. Students should note that this application process is very competitive. Each applicant will be notified by email or phone on the status of their application. Final interviews will take place the second week of June 2020. ​

• Must be academically classified as a rising senior (recently completed junior year)
• Applications will be accepted from May 18, 2020 to June 5, 2020. Complete and submit the online application no later than Friday, June 5, 2020, 5:00 p.m. EST
